    Yuyao Lu is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR). She holds both a Bachelor's and a Research Master's degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam. Yuyao’s research primarily focuses on environmental communication, with a particular interest in how emerging technologies, such as diminished reality and virtual reality, can encourage pro-environmental behavior. Her PhD project explores the potential of diminished reality as a tool for promoting sustainable consumption behaviors.
