This interdisciplinary seed grant project aims to address the limitations of current evidence-based treatments for eating disorders (ES) by developing personalized interventions tailored to adolescents.

Given societal pressures around body image and the increasing prevalence of disturbed eating behaviors among adolescents, researchers strive to create more effective, tailored treatments for ES such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and eating binge disorder. They recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach has not proven effective, and that evidence-based, personalized interventions are needed to support healthier eating habits and psychological well-being in adolescents.
